Last year when I traveled down the East Coast (of the USA) a new friend turned me on to PopOut Maps. If you’ve ever been the tourist trying to fold a huge ass map or getting it soggy in a torrential downpour in the square in Florence, then listen up.
PopOut Maps are plastic and fold small so you can shove them into your pants, they also open small so you don’t look like a tourist. I started buying them on that trip, and, yes, they don’t make them for everywhere, but they are wonderful. And no I do not work for them.
