You Tube for Teaching Ideas

My colleague Biray blogged about websites that gave aerobics instructors ideas for adding new moves into their classes. She discussed a website that people use to go to and that the hits on that website were decreasing. She then looked to YouTube and found some people who were sharing some great move.

It got me thinking...are their teaching ideas on YouTube. I’m specifically thinking of tips or tricks to help lecturing, one of my weaknesses (I’m a constructivist learning girl!). Whereas I found hits for teaching ideas (see the link above), searching for lecturing just found me lectures. But hey...maybe I could watch some of them. Needless to say, since I’m not really going to be in the classroom much this year (the whole instructional technologist thing), I guess I’m in no extreme hurry.

If anyone finds some cool examples of good lectures (or tips about lecturing), reply with a link...or push it to my YouTube channel @ Puptoes55.
